Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
We are currently hiring for a reliable Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at Barton Supply in Aurora, CO. Are you a "Jack of all trades" kind of person?? Do you like to fix things? We are looking for a reliable person to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities. You will handle the day to day trouble shooting and maintenance of industrial machinery. You will be the one to ensure that your colleagues have the best physical resources available to complete their duties. You and your team will keep the equipment, buildings, machinery and the grounds around the building in great shape! You should have experience in a similar function for a busy 200 + employee population manufacturing facility.
Pay: $28 to $32 per hour, depending on experience. This is an hourly position and Overtime will be offered as needed. Sign on bonus of $1500 will be offered (paid at 1/3 increments at 30 days, 90 days and 6 months of employment.). No relocation is available for this position.
To include but not be limited to:
o Conduct inspections
o Repairing mechanical and electrical system malfunctions
o Replace parts and components
o Welding & Fabrication skills including MIG, ARC, OAW
o Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, and other drainage problems
o Electrical experience, DC low voltage, 120V, 240V and 480V. A/C including lockout/tagout procedures.
o Interpersonal skills to interact with other employees
o Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.
- Safety Oriented
- Knowledge and/or background in crane repair
- Knowledge of P.L.C. & C.N.C. preferred
- Written and verbal communication of English language. Bilingual a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to work on time and when needed
This position operates in a manufacturing environment. Must be willing and able to work inside and outside, in both hot and cold conditions.

- Ability to be on feet all day, indoors and outdoors
- Ability to carry/lift up to 75 pounds on occasion
- Capable of working 40 feet above the ground (no fear of heights)
Hours of Work
The employee in this position is paid hourly, and is expected to work the hours necessary to manage the production operations of the organization.
